2 years. Unlimited mileage. Coverage applies to the reconditioned HV battery sold or rebuilt by Houston HyBatt and to the original purchaser only. It is non-transferable and ends if the vehicle is sold. When coverage begins For Houston HyBatt installations and Prius c rebuilds, coverage starts on the work completion date. For self-install purchases, it starts on pickup or delivery. Later installation of a self-install battery does not restart coverage. Warranty service Houston HyBatt will remove and recondition or repair the covered battery as necessary. The deductible is $75 per shop claim or $150 per mobile claim. Multiple legitimate claims are allowed during the original term. Repairs and replacements never restart or extend the warranty. Service areas Mobile warranty service uses the normal mobile service territories and available installer coverage. Customers outside mobile coverage may bring the vehicle or battery to the Houston shop for covered service with the shop deductible. What is excluded Coverage excludes the 12V battery, towing, unrelated diagnostics, other hybrid-system repairs, unrelated mechanical or electrical problems, and other conditions that cause a Check Hybrid System warning. Self-installation errors and damage from improper installation are excluded. Opening, repairs, and warranty seals Only Houston HyBatt should open, disassemble, repair, or modify the covered HV battery. Unauthorized opening, repair, or modification is excluded. Tampering with or removing Houston HyBatt tamper-evident seals is excluded when related to the claimed failure. Start a warranty claim Call or text 832-779-6378. Proof of a diagnostic scan indicating an HV/hybrid battery fault is required. Scans from Houston HyBatt, AutoZone, other parts stores, or repair shops are accepted. Claims are created internally; there is no online claim form. Core exchange Exchange your old battery at purchase or replacement to avoid the core charge: $250 for Gen 2 Prius, $350 for Gen 3 Prius/CT200h, or $350 for Camry Hybrid. Core charges are non-refundable. Returning a core later does not qualify for a refund. Prius c has no core charge; Houston HyBatt retains the removed modules. All battery sales are final Battery sales are final with no refunds. You may cancel before installation, pickup, or delivery without a cancellation fee. Covered battery failures are handled through this warranty.
